Hound & Habit Terms of Service

By signing up for service with Hound & Habit, you're agreeing to the following terms that help us deliver a clean, safe, and reliable experience—for both you and your furry best friend.

 

Yard Access

To keep your service running smoothly, we ask that you maintain safe and easy access to your yard. If we arrive and can’t get in due to locked gates, obstructed paths, or protective pets, your visit will still be charged as scheduled.

 

Pet Safety During Service

Our team members are trained animal lovers and do great with dogs—but for everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that pets be kept indoors (if possible) during your cleanup visit.

This helps us focus on delivering the most thorough service without distractions or stress for your pet.

 

Pet & Household Updates

Going on vacation? Have a new pup? Let us know!

Please notify us of any changes to the number of dogs or if your pets won’t be using the yard for a while. We’re happy to pause or adjust your service with advance notice.

 

Weather & Rescheduling

We love being outdoors—but not when it’s unsafe.

In cases of heavy rain, lightning, extreme heat, or other hazardous weather, we may need to reschedule. If that happens, we’ll make it up as soon as conditions are safe.

 

Disinfection Practices

Your pet’s health is our top priority. That’s why we disinfect all tools and footwear between each visit using ParvoScrub—a 3-in-1 EPA-registered cleaner, deodorizer, and disinfectant made specifically for animal environments.

 

This powerful solution protects against harmful pathogens like Canine Parvovirus, E. Coli, kennel cough, and staph infection, while leaving behind a fresh lemon scent. It’s safe for use on non-porous surfaces and helps eliminate cross-contamination between yards.

 

Respect for Your Property

We treat your space like our own.

That said, Hound & Habit is not responsible for accidental damage to landscaping, gates, or property. We always aim to leave your yard better than we found it.

 

Payments & Promotions

Payments are due promptly and processed according to your selected plan.

If we ever adjust pricing or promotions, we’ll give you at least two (2) weeks’ notice—no surprises.

 

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel service, we ask for a minimum of 30 days written notice.

You can contact us via email or through your client portal. Any remaining balance will be due within 15 days of your final visit.
